Who's behind this

ALI Tax is led by Bilal Jivraj, a registered tax agent (Tax Agent Number 25287564) with over a decade of experience helping Australian individuals and small businesses with their tax affairs.

How we built this resource

Every occupation guide on this site is built from three sources:

1. The ATO's published occupation-specific guides (where they exist)
2. The Income Tax Assessment Act 1997 and relevant tax rulings (TR series)
3. Our practical experience lodging returns for thousands of clients
